The super tight body is very original with no evidence of previous damage, with the bonding strips all present and correct, while the underbody is also exceptionally clean. The lovely original body is finished in the magnificent Ontario Orange metallic which is a particularly classy period colour for the C3 and is further complemented by the light tan hood. The interior tells the story of this cars cherished and clearly respected life through the decades, the original loop pile carpets are still fitted, and the dash is particularly clean and correct with none of the usual tech screws and penny washers holding everything together! The interior presents exceptionally well, and certainly doesnt look over fifty years of age, it is also very complete and rattle free which is remarkable for any Corvette Roadster, and remarkably everything still works, including all of the complete fibre optics system, heater and controls, and even the clock still works!The engine bay is very honest and original with the original matching numbers engine still residing in its place, complete with its original manifolds and the Harrison header tank, and all of the hard to find heat shielding is still present and correct. This Old Stingray really does drive like a car half its age, we have had a lot of these cars over the last 20+ years, but this example will be remembered for how well it drives and the generally lovely no fuss easy to live with road manners it displays. These cars are highly undervalued at the moment, and have been for some time, the C1 and C2 cars are significantly more money by comparison, so surly these cars will get there turn and go the same way, as its long overdue. A genuine collector grade C3 Roadster that is very original and completely unmolested, giving it strong investment potential.
